Aurelia was most recently the Global Head of Structuring at Credit Agricole CIB and a member of the Global Markets Executive Committee. With over 25 years of experience in Finance, she brings exceptional experience in originating ground-breaking transactions.
At CACIB, her focus was the origination, structuring and execution of bespoke solutions across Financial Institutions and Corporates, overseeing a team of 70+ in Fixed Income, FX, Precious Metals, Equities, and Credit and Structured Financing.
Prior to joining Credit Agricole in April 2020, Aurelia was the co-founder and CEO of Argon Capital Management, a Multi-Strategy commodity-centric alternative asset manager based in New York. At Argon Capital she was responsible for the build-out, asset raising and day-to-day management of the firm.
Prior to co-founding Argon, Aurelia was the Global Head of Fixed Income Structuring at Barclays Capital from 2007 to 2013. There she spearheaded the development of industry leading Quantitative Index Strategies. At Barclays she worked extensively with high profile institutions and sovereign entities, closing complex financing and investment transactions across Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities and Equities.
Previously, she was Co-Head of the Private Debt Structuring team at Deutsche Bank in London, where she originated and structured special situations, asset backed and private debt structured financing in Europe. At Deutsche Bank she also spearheaded the design and marketing of the iTraxx and CDX Credit indices from 2002 onwards.
Aurelia began her career at JPMorgan as an analyst in Investment Banking before joining the Swaps Marketing teams, covering Fixed Income and Credit. There, she originated and structured the first standalone CSO mezzanine tranche ever traded by the bank.
Aurelia has been the recipient of numerous awards that recognize her achievements. She was named as one of the Top 100 Rising Stars in Finance in 2009 and selected as one the 100 Most Influential Women in Finance for multiple years by Financial News.
A mother of 3, she is passionate about equal opportunities for girls’ education and served on the Board of the Speyer Legacy School, New York City’s only independent school that serves gifted learners.
Aurelia earned her Master’s Degree in Finance from HEC Paris.
