Joe is a Managing Director at KingsRock based in Madrid with a diverse Canadian and European capital markets background having worked in Investment Banking for over 35 years.

Joe focuses primarily on origination in the Private Credit and Real Assets space as well as capital raising mandates leveraging on KingsRock’s extensive investor relationships. He brings vast experience in bespoke solutions across a broad spectrum of clients.

Over the past decade he was a producing Managing Director whilst acting Head of Markets for Iberia and a Member of the European Executive Committee at Société Générale, Citibank and BNP Paribas.

Prior to that time and as Managing Director he held several EMEA roles at BNP Paribas in London including Structured Credit Head, Co-Head of Credit Sales during the challenges of the GFC and Head of Solutions Sales. Before that he was at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in various roles. His London career spans over 20 years.

He also acted as Business Sponsor for Russia CIS and for the Middle East.

Joe began his markets career in Derivative Sales at CIBC Wood Gundy in Toronto. He studied at University of Toronto and obtained his JD at University of Ottawa and studied under John Hall.
