Massimo has over 30 years experience in corporate finance and principal investing in Europe, having worked in London, Zurich and Milan. He was head of the M&A practice for Deutsche Bank in Italy and previously he was co-head of Corporate Finance in Europe for UBS. 

Massimo holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School (1991, ENI scholarship winner) and a Bachelor in quantitative Economics (cum Laude) from the University of Parma. 

Since leaving Deutsche Bank he has been managing a USD 1 billion permanent capital company, investing in private and public companies across Europe.

In addition he is CEO and co-founder of a SPAC, the Milan based Crescita SpA. 

Massimo has for over 10 years been the Chairman of the Croatian pharmaceutical company Pliva, and been on the board of a number of listed companies. Additionally he has over his career advised CEOs in the  food, technology, media, pharma and energy sectors.

He is full professor of Financial Investments at the University LIUC in Milan.
