PAOLO PEROTTI

SENIOR ADVISOR
INVESTOR / ADVISOR / BEHAVIORAL SCIENTIST / GOVERNANCE / TECHNOLOGY

LONDON /EUROPE

Paola Perotti is based in London and has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, activist investing, ESG integration, and corporate governance in Europe and Japan.

After leaving Deutsche Bank in June 2002, Paola co-founded Go Investment Partners LLP, a long-only, value-seeking activist investment firm focused on European and Japanese small and mid-cap companies. Go Investment Partners took sizable long-term stakes in fundamentally sound businesses undervalued by the market. The firm aimed to create long-term value for its investors through an engaged and supportive approach that aligned the interests of shareholders and management.

Go Investment Partners' joint venture with Tokio Marine Asset Management expired in 2021. Following this, Paola pursued a Master of Science in Behavioural Economics. In her dissertation, she researched cognitively diverse boards and explored how the varied educational backgrounds of board members influenced a firm's performance.

Before her role at Go Investment Partners, Paola spent 13 years in Deutsche Bank's investment banking division in London, where she ultimately served as a Managing Director. In this capacity, she advised companies in the industrial sector on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising, both debt and equity.

Paola provides strategic guidance to small and medium-sized businesses through Be the Business and is dedicated to fostering growth and innovation. Throughout her career, she has advised CEOs in the food, life sciences, industrial, and business services sectors. Currently, she is supporting a startup specialising in complex financial research involving AI and large language models.

Paola is a qualified chartered accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of London and a Master of Science in Behavioral Economics from City, University of London.
