Stephan is currently Member of the Management Board, MM WARBURG & CO (AG & CO.) (SINCE 2022) responsible for the client and markets business.  The Bank focuses on private banking / wealth management; corporate banking (incl. real estate and shipping) and capital markets. In addition he holds several supervisory board member positions

Stephan was with STANDARD CHARTERED BANK AG (2018 – 2021) as a Member of the Management Board of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) AG, Frankfurt, and Head of FM Continental Europe & Head of FM Sales Continental Europe, and he was Responsible for building and running the Financial Market (FM) business of SCB AG.

Stephan was with DEUTSCHE BANK (1998 – 2018), as- Co-head corporate coverage (Frankfurt / 2008 - 2016), European head of rates product sales to non-FI clients (Frankfurt, London / 2012 - 2016), Co-responsibility for the corporate and public-sector FX, interest rates and Debt Capital Markets, and coverage business for Germany and Member of the CIB Germany ExCo. He holds Long standing senior relationships into the German corporate world, particularly with DAX and larger Mid-Cap companies.

EDUCATION
- Master (MSc) in Mathematical Trading & Finance from City University London, Business School (now Cass Business School)
- Extracurricular: Member of the circle of candidates for the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1989 and 1990; regular successful participation in mathematical contests at regional and national level
