Wit is a Managing Director of KingsRock Advisors LLC and is currently awaiting regulatory approval for KingsRock Securities LLC. Upon approval by FINRA, Wit will join as a registered representative of KingsRock Securities LLC.

Accessing KingsRock’s network of investor relationships including alternative asset managers, banks, large family offices, private credit, private equity, and sovereign wealth funds, Wit leverages nearly 40 years of global commercial and investment banking experience to deliver insightful and strategic debt solutions for middle-market companies. Partnering with boutique investment firms, regional and specialty lenders, and financial, operational and legal advisors, Wit is focused on structuring innovative and tailored secured financing solutions for private companies controlled by family trusts, hedge funds and private equity firms.

Wit is an analytical, collaborative, judicious and trusted finance executive with a proven record of achievement and initiative in complex and high-pressure finance environments. Previously, Wit was an independent advisor to C-level executives of middle market companies for debt capital and treasury solutions. For nearly a decade prior, Wit was Managing Director, Asset-Based Finance Sponsor Coverage & Head of Restructuring Finance at MUFG Union Bank and Managing Director, Transitional Finance at Citizens Bank, where he was responsible for developing and leading strategic credit solutions for companies undergoing a restructuring event. For nearly a decade before, Wit was Managing Director at FTI Consulting responsible for developing and leading the firm’s credit evaluation and industry risk assessment initiatives to identify and pursue financial and operational restructuring engagements across all industry groups in the corporate finance practice. With national coverage of commercial and investment banks, CLOs, credit unions, family offices, foundations, hedge funds, insurance companies,
pensions, and private equity firms, Wit liaised with board members, C-level executives and senior capital market participants in addressing complex business challenges.

Wit began his career in the 1980s at ABN Bank, followed by more senior credit roles at Westpac Banking Corp. and Security Pacific Merchant Bank, becoming Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at Asahi Bank in the 1990s. For nearly a decade thereafter, Wit was Managing Director in high yield income at Bear, Stearns & Co. with primary trading coverage of 41 international and regional banks, 17 insurance companies, and large corporate trade claims. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Wit was a portfolio manager at Kingsland Capital Management responsible for managing the firm’s credit exposure in the Cable & Satellite, Business Services, Environmental Services, Financial Services, and Transportation sectors across five CLO funds.

Wit graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University, majoring in American Economic History. Thereafter, Wit attended the Stern Business School at New York University, taking graduate courses in accounting and finance.

Wit, who proposed to his wife after 11 days, has been happily married for 33 years and is the proud father of four adult children. When time permits, Wit endeavors to improve his success at fishing and golfing, inevitably preferring the joy of traveling with his wife to explore new cultures at destinations around the world.
